- Horses are large and powerful making them intimidating. This creates a natural opportunity for a client to overcome fear while developing confidence.
- Horses are social animals with define roles in the herds and with their own personality and attitudes. Which provides learning experiences for the client.
- Horses require clients to be engaged in physical and mental work to be successful, a valuable lesson in all aspects of life.
- Horses don't accept "talk" which encourages clients to make real changes, to learn from their experience which has longer lasting impact.
- Horses by nature are not aggressive and will move away when they are distressed which increases safety.
